What exactly is sukhdi?
A traditional Gujarati sweet made by roasting flour in cow ghee and setting it with jaggery. It is also spelt sukhadi, and in parts of Gujarat it is called gol papdi or gud papdi. It is cut into diamonds and eaten at room temperature.
What varieties do you make, and what do they cost?
Four varieties, in 500 g, 750 g and 1 kg packs. Every price is the full price at your door — delivery included:
| Variety | Gujarat · Maharashtra | Rest of India |
|---|
| 500 g | 750 g | 1 kg | 500 g | 750 g | 1 kg |
| Regular Sukhdi | ₹470 | ₹620 | ₹800 | ₹510 | ₹690 | ₹900 |

How do I place an order?
Tap Order now, or add boxes to the cart and tap Checkout — our order page opens with your packs filled in. Add your name, mobile number and delivery address (type your PIN code and the area, city and state fill in), check the total and place the order. It takes about a minute, and the payment details appear straight away. Questions? WhatsApp 98987 13884.
How do I pay, and is payment taken in advance?
Yes — payment is taken in advance, because every order is cooked only after it is paid. As soon as you place your order, the order page shows your exact amount (delivery is included in our prices) with two ways to pay: Pay online — UPI, debit/credit card or netbanking in a secure Razorpay window, confirmed at once — or scan our UPI QR code / pay to our UPI ID msvaishwetiksukhdi.eazypay@icici (your UPI app shows the name M/S VAISHWETIK SUKHDI) and tap “Payment made”; the UTR is optional. To pay later, open vaishwetiksukhdi.in/pay and enter the mobile number and PIN code you ordered with; if you gave an email address, the payment link also reaches your inbox. Payments go to Vaishwetik Sukhdi (Proprietor: Saryu Shah). You can also pay by bank transfer (NEFT / IMPS) to Vaishwetik Sukhdi, ICICI Bank Limited, Account No. 085305003301, IFSC ICIC0000853 (Manjalpur Branch, Vadodara), or transfer to mobile number 98987 13884. Unpaid orders get a reminder every six hours. Card and cash on delivery are not available at present.
How do I track my order?
Open vaishwetiksukhdi.in/track and enter the mobile number and PIN code you ordered with. You see each stage as we update it — payment received, order confirmed, being made, packed, dispatched and delivered — with the courier name, tracking (AWB) number and a photo of the courier receipt once your parcel is booked. If you gave an email address, we also email you when the order is confirmed, dispatched and delivered.
Is it freshly made?
Yes. Nothing is cooked before your order is paid and confirmed, and we do not sell from old stock. Vadodara orders are delivered the next day; elsewhere we dispatch the next working day.
Where do you deliver, how long does it take, and what does delivery cost?
Home delivery in Vadodara and by courier across India. Delivery is included in the price — there is one price list for Gujarat and Maharashtra and one for the rest of India (every other state and union territory, including Rajasthan and Delhi), worked out from your PIN code. Vadodara: delivered the next day after your paid order. Elsewhere: dispatched the next working day, with a tracking number, then 1–3 working days by our empanelled courier partner, Anjani Courier. Before dispatch we check that the courier serves your PIN code; if it does not, the order is cancelled and your money refunded within 2–3 days of the order.
What if my parcel is late?
If your parcel has not reached you within 5 working days of your order date, we refund the full amount on the 6th–7th working day. We receive delivery confirmation from our courier partner, and you can follow your parcel with the tracking number we share.
Can I get it faster, or use my own courier?
Yes, on request. For faster delivery we can enquire with express services — Porter within Vadodara, air express courier elsewhere. We tell you the extra cost first and ship that way once it is paid. You may also choose a courier of your own; any cost above our price is payable by you.
The courier does not deliver to my door — what then?
In some places the courier does not deliver to the door and the parcel has to be collected from the courier's centre. We share the tracking number so you can coordinate with the courier; collection from the centre is then the customer's responsibility.
Is there anything in it I should know about?
Every variety contains tree nuts — almond and pistachio. The Special Dry-Fruit and Winter Special also contain walnut. The Regular, Dry-Fruit and Winter Special contain wheat; the Jowar variety is made without wheat but is cooked in the same kitchen, so we do not describe it as gluten free. The Winter Special also contains coconut and edible gum (gundar). All four contain cow ghee, a milk product, so they contain milk and are vegetarian but not vegan. If you have a nut allergy, this is not a product we can make safely for you — please do not order.
Do you make a sugar-free or diabetic version?
No. We make sukhdi the traditional way, with jaggery. We do not offer a sugar-free or diabetic variant, and we are not able to advise on whether our sweets suit any particular medical diet — please ask your own doctor.
Why is the MRP on the pack higher than what I paid?
The MRP printed on every pack is our highest price — the rest-of-India price, inclusive of delivery and all taxes. In Gujarat and Maharashtra you pay less than the printed MRP, as shown on our rate card, and above 1 kg every pack is charged at the 1 kg rate. You never pay more than the MRP.
How long does it keep?
There are no preservatives. Sukhdi is best within 25–28 days. Keep it in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, away from heat, and do not refrigerate — refrigeration hardens it.
What is in the Winter Special?
Wheat flour, jaggery and cow ghee, prepared with soonth (dry ginger), ganthoda, gundar (edible gum) and shredded coconut, with almond and pistachio. These are the ingredients Gujarati homes have traditionally added in winter. It is a seasonal preparation — please confirm availability on WhatsApp before planning around it.
Can I taste it before ordering?
Within Vadodara we can usually arrange a tasting piece, subject to the team confirming availability. Message us and we will tell you what is possible.
Do you take bulk and corporate orders?
Yes — festival hampers, employee and client gifting, weddings and return gifts. Use the bulk enquiry form above with your quantity, city, date and any packaging or message-card requirement. Give us as much notice as you can around Diwali.
Are you FSSAI registered?
Yes. Vaishwetik Sukhdi holds FSSAI Registration No. 20726024003035, issued under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006. The number is shown in the footer of this page.
Can I cancel after paying?
You can cancel free of charge at any time before preparation begins, and the full amount is refunded to the UPI account you paid from. Once cooking has started the order cannot be cancelled, because it is made fresh for you and is not held in stock. Tell us as early as you can if your plans change.
What if my order arrives damaged or is the wrong item?
Send us a photograph on WhatsApp on the day of delivery, with your name and order details, and we will replace the box or refund the amount paid to the UPI account you paid from. Being a freshly prepared food product, we cannot take back a box that has simply been opened.
Can I speak to someone?
Yes. WhatsApp or call 98987 13884, Monday to Saturday, 9:30 am to 6:30 pm. Sunday is our weekly off.
